Flail mowers from the ORKAN KTBC/Z series are machines for special tasks for demanding users. They have the advantages known from previous series of flail mowers, including KTBC and KTBC/K. They are characterized by a number of safeguards that allow for long-term and effective use of the mower, heavy flail hammers that can break branches and bushes, a solid construction of the working chamber and an extremely durable pantograph. They are equipped with a mechanical overrun protection. The distinguishing features of the ORKAN KTBC/Z flail mower series are primarily the spring protection of the pantograph that prevents it from being damaged during an impact. The mowers are equipped with Italian CMR brand angular gears and a mulching rotor with an enlarged diameter with flail hammers arranged in a spiral arrangement, which significantly reduces the demand for power and increases the quality of shredding the mown material. The hinged inspection flap of the working chamber allows easy and trouble-free access to the shaft and hammers. The open flap can also be used for shredding crop residues or mowing tall bushes, where additional spreading is required. The mown material is then ground to a lesser extent and spread behind the machine. This reduces the load on the tractor from the mower and ensures high efficiency even in the most difficult conditions.
