The Cat 320GX is a 20-ton class tracked excavator designed for a balance of performance and cost-effectiveness. It is powered by a Cat® C4.4 engine with a net power output in the range of 110-121 kW (approx. 148-162 hp). The machine has an operating weight of approximately 19,800 - 20,000 kg. Its bucket capacity is around 0.93 - 1.0 m³, and it offers a maximum digging depth of 6,430 mm and maximum reach of 9,580 mm. Key features of the 320GX are designed to reduce operating costs. It is marketed to be up to 15% more fuel-efficient than the previous 320D2 GC model through its "Smart Mode" that adjusts engine speed to the task.
