The CAT 312 is an 11.6-ton short-tail medium hydraulic excavator engineered for confined urban construction sites. Its rear swing radius is only 2160 mm, preventing collisions with walls during old town renovation, basement projects, narrow roadway work and municipal pipeline installation. It is equipped with a urea-free electronically controlled Cat C3.6 engine complying with EU Stage V / EPA Tier4 Final global emission standards, ensuring smooth customs clearance in the Caribbean, Europe and the United States. The electronically controlled load-sensing hydraulic system delivers smooth and precise movements. A breaker auxiliary hydraulic circuit comes as standard, making the machine multi-functional for earthmoving, rock breaking and backfilling. With compact overall dimensions, it can be loaded directly into a 40HQ container without extensive disassembly.
